We are seeking a mid-senior (5-8 years) level qualitative Social Researcher. We need someone with superb qualitative skills, a master moderator who can hold an audience and skillfully identify and build on hidden patterns and trends.
Joining an expert qualitative team of eight people, the role will entail regular interstate travel (restrictions permitting) meeting and working with Australians from all walks of life. Your findings will contribute to strategically important research studies in support of public sector policy and programs.
To excel in this role, we need someone with sound training in qualitative research methods and practical experience of delivering qualitative research projects, ideally in a research agency environment. You will have the ability to run focus groups independently, with the client present. Knowing how to synthesise research findings and incorporate them into a quantitative stage is important.
Working on some hard-hitting research briefs, and with your audience group in mind, you will need to think creatively and flexibly, as well as having an appreciation of inclusion and diversity.

Salary: To $100,000 base + super + benefits (depending on experience)
