Senior Research Consultant, Quant – ‘a boutique with bandwidth’, Melbourne

Flow Recruitment
July 8, 2020
Melbourne, Australia
Job Type

An award winning, mid-sized research and analytics consultancy who use primary and secondary data to create growth opportunities for their clients.

This business is in a strong financial position, and with continued, projected growth for 2020, they are looking to hire a Senior Research Consultant to lead on quantitative research projects.

All research projects are bespoke, and they work hard to ensure an attentive, tailored and personalised client experience.  Senior Research Consultants are encouraged to think freely and let go of any rigid thinking.  Feedback on the ground is that employees find this ‘no holding us back approach’ enjoyable and liberating.

Their research spans a wide range of categories covering driving strategy through segmentation, optimizing a product portfolio, pricing evaluation, new product evaluation, discrete choice modelling, informing brand strategy and more.

To be successful in this role you will need to be comfortable working with data.  It is likely that you will already be working in a research, insight, or strategy role with data at the core.  It is important you can see the bigger picture, make sense of business and marketing problems and unpack them.  Being conscious of your own style and how you adapt and mould this to suit individual client’s needs is also key.

Culturally, this business has stayed true to their start-up values.  They allow freedom and autonomy with access to senior leaders; they are firm believers diversity brings better outcomes, and they enjoy celebrating success.  Their culture is more akin to a boutique management consultancy than research agency.
