06 Oct Director; quantitative; board position; successful independent agency, Dublin, Ireland
This is an outstanding opportunity for a senior candidate to take a board director-level position with the possibility of a stake in this ambitious, successful, well run independent agency, should you wish.
With very long-standing clients spanning the commercial, social and not-for-profit sectors, their work focuses on local market and includes multi-country programmes. Mixed methods, they work across the spectrum of client challenges, priding themselves on their innovative approaches and with a very clear dedication to developing and testing new methods.
Working alongside the MD as an external “face” of the business in order to further build the agency profile, you will be responsible for leading, developing and implementing client business. This role reports into the MD: an experienced, charismatic, genuine, forward-thinking and credible researcher who is looking to hand over both a portfolio of existing clients and the responsibility for some of the many incoming briefs.
With a happy, talented and loyal staff group, the culture here is friendly and supportive; they work on a matrix structure with teams being allocated on a project basis.
For this role, we are looking for an experienced and accomplished quantitative director who, when things get back to “normal”, will be based in the Dublin office.
Ideally the client would like to see experience across the commercial, social and not-for-profit sectors, but experience in one of these areas is acceptable as long as you are happy to work across the others. Experience in the FMCG arena is of particular interest but this is not a must-have.
You will need to have a track record of writing winning proposals, pitches and tenders and you will enjoy being hands-on: managing projects, analysing and presenting your findings to senior clients. Local market experience would be ideal but again, this is not a must-have.
Ideally you will have a good understanding of advanced analytics in terms of what tools to use where and being able to turn the outputs into client insight/recommendations. And we are looking for someone who is energetic and inspiring, who enjoys mentoring and who can help maintain this warm, positive culture.
If you are a British or Irish citizen currently residing abroad and have been thinking about moving back closer to home, this could be an ideal opportunity to consider relocating to Dublin. Sponsorship is not available for this role so having the right to work in the United Kingdom is an essential requirement.
