19 Aug Research Director, dualist – new role with ‘we’re back!’ agency – Sydney
This is a newly created 2iC role with one of the big players in market research, brand & comms strategy and insight.
We are looking for a Research Director who is outcome focussed, passionate about shaping, growing and raising the profile of the team, with their own ambition and self-belief to push for Partner level in 1-2 years’ time.
A Research Directors role is to engage with clients, leverage existing relationships, be on top of new requests for research, write compelling proposals, win new business and retain the programs of research already in play.
The Sydney team is currently five (a Managing Partner, three Research Directors and an Analyst) so this role will be crucial in account and client development, including leading projects and writing the narrative.
The agencies work covers tracking and ad-hoc quant, and comms development, for tourism, FS and digital disruptor clients. For a tourism client they were recently asked to craft their entire brand strategy, including running a large segmentation. Their work is impactful and diverse.
With a great body of work already underway, this really is an excellent role for a technically sound quant qual Research Director. You will have the backing of a global brand, some seriously good mixed methods researchers, and a tuned-in and connected leadership team behind you every step of the way.
