Our client is global, niche and has been successful for over 25 years in the area of brands: valuation, strategy and consultancy. Globally, regionally and locally the client portfolio is tier one across a wide range of industries and sectors. The agency is expanding in the Middle East and requires a Director to lead and direct business growth from their existing base in Dubai.

Your experience to-date will include;

  • Solid working knowledge of both quantitative and qualitative research
  • Agency side involvement in either the European or North American markets and, ideally
  • Direct involvement in Middle East markets

This role is to drive company success through;

  • Expand, enhance and deepen client relationships
  • Build, manage, develop and motivate the insights team
  • Contribute to an enjoyable and productive workplace

The major areas of responsibility are;


  • Contribute to building and refining the marketing and sales strategy in the Middle East
  • Identify key clients’ prospects for syndicated and ad hoc services
  • Develop compelling credentials presentations and proposals that clearly connect client needs with agency capabilities and USPs
  • Establish good working relationships with clients by maintaining a friendly, helpful, enthusiastic, “can-do” attitude in formal and informal conversations
  • Ensure high quality and timely delivery to clients in order to strengthen loyalty and encourage repeat business
  • Deliver insightful reporting with a clear narrative that sets up a strong set of conclusions and recommendations
  • Proactively support other offices with their research needs and contribute to the development of the global research team


  • Build, manage, develop and motivate the team
  • Work closely with the Regional Managing Director to manage and develop the local and global research teams
  • Identify requirements for full-time and freelance staff to support the anticipated workload and ensure the company has the requisite skills, and capacity to achieve business objectives
  • Oversee training, development and mentoring of the research team, including both formal training and “on the job” feedback and guidance
  • Oversee allocation of workload across the research team, monitor progress and provide support where needed
  • Encourage an open and supportive work environment
  • Encourage staff to give constructive feedback and suggestions for improvement
