The purpose of their work is to extract commercial advantage from cultural insight. Their mission is to help brands understand, and leverage, the intersection between consumer behaviour and broader culture.
The Sydney division is a couple of years old, and with continued growth, and an abundance of demand for this type of work, they are looking to hire a qualitative researcher to support on projects, run fieldwork and interpret qualitative and cultural findings.
They use a diverse range of research methods, innovative online and offline techniques, from ethnography and workshops to online communities and mobile reporting, quantitative work, and social listening – extending through to analysis frameworks and sound strategic consultation.
Projects are 100% ad-hoc, focusing on brand, comms, product and service. A lot of projects span multi-markets.
To walk into the role, you will ideally come with a couple of years research agency experience. A good grounding in qualitative market research principles and projects, as well as an appreciation for culture, and its importance to brands, go hand in hand.
Technically, it is important you know how to run a qualitative research project, from design to analysis stages.
